Monongalia County Schools Keep Building

The county’s largest outstanding project is the construction of Eastwood Elementary, the county’s first “green” school. Superintendent Frank Devono said the building is progressing nicely. JD&E Contracting, headquartered in Wheeling, has the contract for the $11 million, 50,400-square-foot facility. Williamson Shriver Architects Inc. is the lead architect of the project.
